Passage of the 2012 Missouri Budget
The deadline for passage of the state budget is one week prior to the end of the regular session ending on May 13. The Missouri General Assembly gave final approval Thursday, May 5, to the 13 appropriations bills that make up the fiscal year 2012 state operating budget. The approximately $23.2 billion will go into effect for the fiscal year beginning July 1.
