Nixon Signs More Bills Into Law
JEFFERSON CITY – Gov. Jay Nixon today signed into law six bills passed by the Missouri General Assembly. The Governor signed:

- House Bill 340, which allows counties of any classification to erect and maintain a jail or holding cell facility at a site other than the county seat and changes the laws regarding the circuit court in Cape Girardeau County.

- House Bill 470, which changes the laws regarding the nonresident entertainer and professional athletic team member income tax.

- Senate Bill 36, which allows employees of certain employers to take a leave of absence for civil air patrol emergency service duty or counter narcotic missions.
